Get Involved! Model Legislature 2010, March 13th 9am - 5:30pm   The 2010 Nova Scotia Youth Model Legislature is a collaborative effort of the youth wings of the three parties represented in the Nova Scotia Legislative Assembly. Young members representing each party meet at Province House in Halifax, where they will participate in a mock session of legislature, followed by an “all-party social” to end the day. This is the first year in which the NS Young New Democrats will be forming government, and it is an exciting time to be involved and be active in the political process. It is a great day, and the emphasis is always on having a lot of fun. So if you're between 14 and 29, are have an interest in politics, and enjoy a good day with colleges and friends, this is the day for you! Special Guests include Alexa McDonough as the Lt. Governor, and Mat Whynott as the Speaker of the House. If you wish to attend to watch, the visiters gallery is open to spectators from 9:45 to 5pm. It's always nice to have guests in the gallery!
